Oliver is a West Midlands-based writer, director, performer and composer.
Recently, he has written the pilot for a YA drama centring on autism, and has subsequently created a version for stage. He is neurodivergent himself, as well as living with cerebral palsy and epilepsy.
In September 2023, Oliver co-directed Last Ditch/Anhrefn yng Nghymru, with David Ian Rabey (the play’s dramatist) for Lurking Truth Theatre Company, to very favourable reviews from Adam Somerset/Theatre Wales. Shannon is a Scotland-based performer, director, writer and costume designer.
An alumnus of the English and Theatre departments of Aberystwyth University, their background is in short prose fiction and copy editing. In 2019, while performing in a departmental production of A Midsummer Night’s Dream as Puck they also worked as an assistant director on the same show, marking their first foray into creative leadership.
Having become an ambulatory wheelchair user, Shannon made a return to theatre in 2023 when they designed the costume and make-up for LAST DITCH / ANHREFN YNG NGHYMRU (Lurking Truth Theatre Company) while also working on the project as an assistant director.
